Multiplying A Number With 15: Using this method we can multiply any number with 15 in a very easy way. Such type of Techniques of Vedic Maths help us to perform calculations in a much faster way. Mastering such type of techniques is very essential in Competitive Exams where time is very precious
For example let us multiply 4231 and 15
Method: We will prefix a 0 before the number. The number becomes 04231. We will multiply the digit at unit place with 5. Thie unit place of the resultant number will be the unit place in the answer and the reamaining will be the carry. Then we will multiply the next number with 5 and add the previous number. The unit place of the resultant number will be prefixed in the answer and remaining will be the carry. The same process is repeated for the next number.
We will Multiply the digit at unit place that is 1 with 5 Resultant Number = 1 X 5 = 5 The unit place of the resultant number will be prefixed in the answer and remaining will be the carry Answer = 5 Carry = 0
We will Multiply the digit at tens place that is 3 with 5 and add the number at units place. Then add the carry if any Resultant Number = 3 X 5 + 1+ 0 = 16 + 0 = 16 The unit place of the resultant number will be prefixed in the answer and remaining will be the carry Answer = 65 Carry = 1
We will Multiply the digit at hundreds place that is 2 with 5 and add the number at tens place. Then add the carry if any Resultant Number = 2 X 5 + 3 + 1 = 13 + 1 = 14 The unit place of the resultant number will be prefixed in the answer and remaining will be the carry Answer = 465 Carry = 1
We will Multiply the digit at Thousands place that is 4 with 5 and add the number at hundreds place. Then add the carry if any Resultant Number = 4 X 5 + 2 + 1 = 22 + 1 = 23 The unit place of the resultant number will be prefixed in the answer and remaining will be the carry Answer = 3465 Carry = 2
We will Multiply the digit at Ten Thousands place that is 0 with 5 and add the number at thousands place. Then add the carry if any Resultant Number = 0 X 5 + 4 + 2 = 4 + 2 = 6 The resultant number will be prefixed in the answer Answer = 63465 |
I have spent a wonderful time in Abhyas academy. It has made my reasoning more apt, English more stronger and Maths an interesting subject for me. It has given me a habbit of self studying
It was a good experience with Abhyas Academy. I even faced problems in starting but slowly and steadily overcomed. Especially reasoning classes helped me a lot.

It was good as the experience because as we had come here we had been improved in a such envirnment created here.Extra is taught which is beneficial for future.
My experience with Abhyas is very good. I have learnt many things here like vedic maths and reasoning also. Teachers here first take our doubts and then there are assignments to verify our weak points.
Abhyas is a complete education Institute. Here extreme care is taken by teacher with the help of regular exam. Extra classes also conducted by the institute, if the student is weak.
